Living Legends

Living Legends is the international home of rest for champion horses. Woodlands Historical Park is home to this establishment for retired champion horses. It is located a 10 minute drive from the Best Western Airport Motel & Convention Centre and is the ideal location for a day trip.

Living Legends is home to retired champion race hoses such as Fields of Omagh, Might and Power, Saintly, Sky Heights, Better Loosen Up, Rogan Josh, Doriemus, and Paris Lane. Woodlands Historic Park totals over 700 hectares, and gives visitors a glimpse of the landscape as it was in the 1840's. The historic Woodlands homestead is a rare example of an early prefabricated building and is surrounded by magnificent restored gardens, including the oldest magnolias in the state. The park also contains ruins of two other 19th century homesteads, Cumberland and Dundonald.
